They also keep putting a sunset into the NDAA. But that’s one they keep voting to continue.

It’s us against the US Government. As it always has been, is now, and ever will be.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways and if the goalpost are always moving nobody but the manipulators can win their unsolicited game.

I‘m sure you are right that digital currency in some form will in all probability eventually win out with all the attendant risks, which is the reason it’s important to continue to point out the dangers, just like running straight into AI without considering the risks is foolish.

So basically, they sunset all the bills, the American people desire, and let the shit bills remain forever, oh, and by the way, you really think that the Congress can throttle and have sway over the federal reserve board not in our lifetimes

at least two of the three banks I keep small pittances in openly participate in (be a) fedNow. one even advertised it by email as a feature-not-a-bug which only works if both ends of the transaction run through that system.

my very small petty revenge on bankers and those tracking financials is keeping 10¢ to $1 in those accounts, and moving a few cents around between them from time to time so they don't go inactive. every now and again transfer enough to pay a bill and quickly empty it to pennies again. I know it's just electronic space I'm taking up and it's not doing more than microscopic damage if any, but for some reason I get a hint of satisfaction from it.
