What is happening in Europe is as sad as it is funny. Disincentivize the native population and incentivize the immigrants. Suppress free speech too. Now they're pushing war with Russia as a fix to shooting themselves in both feet. Europe deserves to be overrun by the same people they CRUSADED against just a few centuries ago.

Those four points are deadly accurate. On point 4, I wrote this on another site last week:

The Christian Church is now little more than a symbolic remnant of western civilization that, for 1400 years fought to keep Islam confined elsewhere and thus survived. The west now, after decades of illiberal rot, institutional capture, cultural and economic vandalism, has consciously opened the gates and bankrupt welfare-state coffers to Islam and, led by elected Jacobins and Bolsheviks terrified of insulting them, have consigned the future of the west to Islam. Meanwhile, Europe is inching towards civil war and the UK may already be in one with the state apparently on the side of Islam. In such a self-degraded culture, honesty on this question is not to be found on ballots of electable candidates or "politically acceptable" parties.

And not to be outdone the current Australian gov and Fabian prime minister is burning cash on climate conferences in Fiji that no serious leader wanted to attend while making noises for Australia to join the EU. FFS we are in Asia and should be in serious talks and economic alignment with our Asian neighbours.

Of course France has an educational problem — we all saw the teenage Muslim kids who couldn’t even open a kid-proof cap.

And if my school was underfunded, I’d obviously reach for the chainsaw. Totally normal city response. Where do you even get a chainsaw in the city? Welcome to Paris 😂😂😂

The schools in France must need improvement. Apparently yesterday’s “students” have somehow learned that “not enough resources” can be remedied by destroying existing resources? Their very own Students Lives Matter movement. Now they have no place to go to learn otherwise, and it’s doubtful their supply of quality educators is growing. Where now? Outdoor classrooms? Mosques?

always great to wake up to a Lau post reminding me that socialism sucks from beginning to tragic end. While European production (in assets/person) has fallen relative to America, I suspect American production has fallen as well, just less. So much financial engineering, redistribution, and very little real growth. My litmus test is whether AI productivity gains will outpace my tax bill, or even the time it takes to fill out my tax forms, since even grok says regulations are too complex to complete a 1040 form for me.

but I digress - cautiously hopeful, we shouldn't throw all of Europe away. Please Lau, tell us where Europe is growing economically and socially. I've read Poland is grand, the Baltics are calm. Where should capital be invested?
